MARKET RESEARCH AND COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS
In order to determine whether the client’s concept is suited for franchising, Integrity’s personnel will examine the basic concept of the client’s business, its operational format, finances, as well as the ability to easily duplicate the business in other locations. Each will be benchmarked against those of comparable franchises and businesses in related industries. This market research and analysis will take into consideration many different aspects of the business including the types of products and services offered, types and size of locations utilized, total investment for establishing an outlet, and the revenue and earnings of the corporate entity and franchising concept.
Franchise Owner Profile
Type of Franchise Offered
Determination of Territory
Franchise Support Programs
FRANCHISE REVENUE SOURCES
IFA will review the client’s revenue options and recommend appropriate sources that may contribute to the franchise income and profits. Among the available options are the following:
1. INITIAL FRANCHISE FEES
3. ADVERTISING FEES
Franchise Disclosure Document
(We partner with the top franchise attorneys in the industry)
Individual Franchise Agreement
Area Developer Franchise Agreement
AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENT SERVICES
IFA will discuss the initial audited financial services as needed by the Federal Trade Commission to be included in the Franchise Disclosure Document. The accounting audit services should be provided by a Certified Public Account that understands the franchise space.
FRANCHISE REGISTRATIONS AND FILINGS
After the client has approved the final drafts of the Franchise Agreement and the Disclosure Document, the franchise registration applications required by various state regulatory agencies are drafted by your attorney. Applications will be based on information provided by the client and will be submitted to the client for submission to the state regulatory agencies. Included in these applications are:
- Franchise Registration Application
- Supplemental Information Form
- Salesman Disclosure Form
- Uniform Consent to Service of Process
- Corporate Acknowledgment
- Certification Page
- Copies of Advertising Materials
- Disclosure Document
Only the following states require additional filing fees. California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
The rest of the states in the U.S are non-registration states and they do not require any additional registration fees.
FRANCHISE OPERATIONS MANUAL and TRAINING
Your Franchise Operations Manuals are the integrity and backbone of your operational systems and processes. The organizational layout and simplicity of these manuals will invite more frequent franchisee usage, provided they are detailed and user-friendly.
IFA will provide the final documents which will include the research, data gathering, employee interview documents, creative development, copywriting, editing and production. Please note that new and emerging franchisors will need to develop, a “family” of Corporate Operations Manuals over time.
TRAINING: Our team can use your operations manual as a map to layout your VIDEO BASED training, to be stored and updated on your own intranet. This will save you time and money and position your brand for success and the need to continually update materials that become outdated.
OUR FEE PLAN
(No Extra Hidden Charges)
IFA is able to provide the complete package outlined above for a fixed fee of $15,000. A $5000 payment will be required at the start of the project, $5000 to be paid upon completion of the operations manual, and the final $5000 paid upon the completion of the FDD.
This fee does not include legal documentation which is separate and paid directly to the Franchise Attorney of your choice. The likely expense of the legal documents will range from $15,000 to $25,000. However, our work will allow typical franchise attorney fees to be 25-40% less than what they would be otherwise.
