If you’re thinking about going on a trip, you see your travel agent, who makes the trip a reality. Think of me as your franchise travel agent.
In determining your itinerary, I need to get to know more about you. So, expect a lot of questions. The more you share, the better I match you to your dream career. Here goes:
Why do you want to go on this trip (i.e. Why do you want to own your own business?)
This is the most important question I will ask you. I want to help guide you to look at your motivations, as well as the businesses that interest you in order to find the perfect fit.
How committed are you to devoting your life to a business? Are you a good manager, and do you work well with employees? All of these things will help me match your distinctive needs to a specific franchise.
What type of travel experience do you want? (i.e. What type of business interests you?)
Do you enjoy helping people, or providing a service? Do food franchises tantalize your taste buds or is your green thumb an incentive to become an entrepreneur? Will your new business be the experience you were hoping for?
How important is it to you to have a schedule? (What are your expectations in terms of work you put in / employees?)
Do you want a franchise that has a structured schedule, or one that offers days of unexpected opportunities? Do you want to be at the front lines of operating your franchise, or hire employees to do the work for you?
Finally, do you have any past negative travel experiences? (i.e. Has anything ever soured you on the idea of owning a business?)
While it’s impossible to predict what lies ahead, I can help you prepare for the future by working out a plan beforehand. Plus, I’ll be available to help you find a solution if things take an unexpected turn.
As Helen Keller once said: “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
Where would you like to go?
